We are TWO multi-disciplinary healthcare clinics, owned & operated by Kathy Yardley, Registered Physiotherapist, located in Orangeville & Mono, Ontario. The vision is always to help others live the best in their bodies.

Our Mission

Our mission is to be the trusted leader in rehabilitation care by compassionately embracing the needs of the community – one problem, one goal, one person at a time.

To do that, we believe we need to work with a team of amazing individuals. By providing a variety of services under one roof, we can help you reach your goals quickly and efficiently. You, as a WHOLE, will be treated, rather than just the specific area of the body that is in pain.

Our Team

  • Kathy Yardley
    Kathy Yardley Registered Physiotherapist, Owner, Headwaters Physiotherapy, BMSc, MScPT

    Kathy is a high-energy Physiotherapist who loves seeing her patients meet and exceed their goals. Kathy has training in Contemporary Acupuncture, manual therapy, Reformer Pilates, taping, FMS, Nordic pole walking, and Personal Training. Kathy has special training in Pelvic Physiotherapy from Pelvic Health Solutions and can treat a wide range of pelvic conditions.

  • Lori Barnes
    Lori Barnes Clinic Manager

    Lori is the Clinic Manager at Headwaters Physiotherapy. She Keeps things running smoothly at the clinic, including MVA & WSIB billings. Lori lives in Orangeville with her two boys and dog. Lori enjoys spending time with her family, camping, sports and dancing.

  • Cristina Coates
    Cristina Coates Operations Manager

    Cristina is the Manager of Operations at Headwaters Physiotherapy. Cristina brings extensive business management experience, with focus in the healthcare industry. Her passion lies in helping people lead healthy lifestyles. Cristina also enjoys practicing Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

     

  • Laura Reithmeier
    Laura Reithmeier Registered Physiotherapist, MScPT, MScBio, BSc.

    Laura is a graduate of the McMaster Physiotherapy program, after completing a MSc. in Biology & a Bachelor of Science degree. Laura has training in acupuncture, concussion management, osteoporosis rehab, soft tissue release, & manual therapy. Originally from Nova Scotia, Laura enjoys exploring the area and staying active: running, hiking, cycling, & strength training.

  • Heather Sullivan
    Heather Sullivan Registered Physiotherapist, MScPT, BSc.

    Heather is a graduate of the McMaster Physiotherapy program and has courses in McKenzie therapy, Manual Therapy , Concussion Management, and Vestibular Rehabilitation. Heather enjoys working with her patients to improve their overall health and wellbeing. Heather practiced in Thunder Bay prior to returning to the Orangeville area.

  • Scott Lyall
    Scott Lyall Registered Physiotherapist, MScPT, BASc. (KIN)

    Scott is a graduate of the McMaster physiotherapy program. Scott has a passion for health sciences, physical fitness, and helping patients achieve the highest level of physical functioning possible. Scott values continuing education and has training in Acupuncture, Osteoporosis, and Strength Conditioning. Scott loves trail running, hiking, back country camping, and long-distance cycling.

  • Richard Iheadindu
    Richard Iheadindu Registered Physiotherapist, MScPT, HBSc. (KIN)

    Richard is a graduate of the Queen’s University Physical Therapy program. He has completed courses in Manual Therapy, Soft Tissue Release and Acupuncture and seeks to advance his training in Orthopedics. He was a former University athlete that played basketball and still has a passion for playing multiple sports and staying active.

     

  • Lovepreet Bhatti
    Lovepreet Bhatti Registered Physiotherapist, MScPT, BSc.

    Lovepreet is a graduate of McMaster University’s Physiotherapy program. Lovepreet has a passion for learning and plans to continue his education in soft tissue release, manual therapy, acupuncture and strength conditioning. Lovepreet has gained experience working in a wide variety of settings including: sports physio, neuro rehab and with paediatric populations. In his free time, Lovepreet enjoys hiking, exploring new cuisines and playing sports.

     

  • Miranda Thomas
    Miranda Thomas Registered Physiotherapist, MScPT, BKin(HONS)

    Miranda is a graduate from the University of Toronto’s Master of Science in Physical therapy program, after completing her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Brock University. Since then, she has completed courses in soft tissue release and K-taping. Miranda was a National level Irish Dancer which has fuelled her passion for orthopaedics and manual therapy. In her spare time, you will find Miranda at the gym, cooking, or hanging out with her 1-year old daughter.

     

     

     

  • Joy McNichol
    Joy McNichol Chiropractor, B.P.H.E. (Hons), D.C., ART

    Joy is a chiropractor & ART provider whose goal is to empower her patients to lead an active & healthy lifestyle. Joy is an Olympian, competing in basketball at the 2000 Sydney Olympics & also played professionally in Europe for 3 years. Her other passions include flag football, spinning, yoga, camping, bootcamp & cooking with her friends & family.

  • Ashleigh Stableforth
    Ashleigh Stableforth Chiropractor, HBSc. (KIN), D.C.

    Dr. Stableforth has been a chiropractor in Orangeville since 2010. She treats a variety of conditions using Diversified & instrument-assisted chiropractic techniques & myofascial release. With an interest in prenatal & pediatric care, she is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association & is certified in Webster technique.

  • Peter Hrkal
    Peter Hrkal Chiropractor, D.C., ART®

    Peter is a Chiropractor trained in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, ART®, spinal/extremity joint manipulation, and functional rehabilitation. In addition to clinical practice, Peter is currently completing a Master’s degree in rehabilitation and working towards his sports specialty in Chiropractic. Peter works at both our Centennial Rd & AI clinics. Apart from work, Peter enjoys the outdoors, cottaging and fishing.

  • Ainsley Wallace
    Ainsley Wallace Registered Massage Therapist

    Ainsley has completed an OTA/PTA program in 2017 and a Massage Therapy program in 2019 and has certificates in Reflexology (RRPr), Cupping Therapy and Pelvic Health Conditions – Level 1. Ainsley spends her free time continuing to learn more within her field and enjoying time outdoors. “Being in the health care field for many years has led me to my passion of helping others reach their goals and aiding them in restoring function and better mobility to their daily lives. One smile, one minute, one step at a time.”

  • Tabitha Irwin
    Tabitha Irwin Registered Massage Therapist

    Tabitha is a Registered Massage Therapist at Headwaters Physiotherapy. Outside of the clinic, she can be found spending time with her family and teaching Zumba classes in town!

  • Kourtney Matysek
    Kourtney Matysek Registered Massage Therapist/Certified Athletic Therapist, CAT(c), R. KIN

    Kourtney is a Registered Massage Therapist, Certified with the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association (CATA), Registered Kinesiologist of Ontario and also has a Certificate in Equine massage therapy. Kourtney specialized in soft tissue injuries and manual therapy techniques. Kourtney is an equestrian athlete and animal lover, and can be found spending her free time enjoying the farm life at home in Caledon. Kourtney hopes to one day combine her love of animals with her passion for rehabilitation.

  • Leslie Curnew
    Leslie Curnew Registered Massage Therapist

    Leslie has always been interested in how the body heals, how it functions in the presence of various stressors, and how individuals  view their own health. As a practitioner, Leslie likes to focus on a whole body approach, using a variety of techniques including deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and general Swedish massage techniques. Leslie encourages the empowerment of her patients through health education. She firmly believes that massage therapy, in compliment with other modalities, can help maintain a healthy mind, body, and spirit.

  • Morgan Malloy
    Morgan Malloy Registered Massage Therapist

    Morgan is a graduate of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. She strives to assist her clients in living their best lives possible through Swedish Massage techniques, as well as integrating Cupping Therapy and Hot Stone therapy into her treatments. She believes a multi-disciplinary approach is highly effective when treating both acute and chronic ailments. In her spare time you can find her out with her family, dogs, or at the rink playing hockey.

     

  • Christian Hatz
    Christian Hatz Registered Massage Therapist, R. KIN

    Christian is a graduate from the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from York University and is a Certified Personal Trainer. He believes in a holistic approach to health and fitness; aligning the mechanical components of the body with the driving force of the mind and the spirit. Christian enjoys sports in general and loves distance running, weight lifting and music (especially karaoke).

  • Rebecca Hoekstra
    Rebecca Hoekstra Certified Athletic Therapist, CAT(c), BSc. (KIN)

    Rebecca is a Certified Athletic Therapist who completed her Athletic Therapy degree at Sheridan college, before which she obtained her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. Rebecca enjoys treating a variety of injuries and helping her patients get back to their sport, work or daily activities. Rebecca is highly trained in taping all types of injuries, as well as orthopedic bracing. When Rebecca is not working, she can be found training and competing her dressage horse or spending quality time with her young daughter and husband.

  • Sarah Glassford
    Sarah Glassford Naturopathic Doctor, ND, BSc

    Sarah is a Naturopathic Doctor passionate about bringing health back into your hands so you can lead a healthy and fulfilling life. She uses evidence-based and natural treatments including nutrition and lifestyle guidance, supplements, herbal medicine, and Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture. Sarah maintains a general family practice with a focus on digestion, fatigue, hormonal imbalances, brain health and concussion recovery. Sarah is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and of the University of Waterloo Kinesiology program. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) as well as the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).

  • Matt Quattrociocchi
    Matt Quattrociocchi Canadian Certified Pedorthist B.Kin., C Ped Tech (C), C Ped (C)

    Matt completed post-graduate education in pedorthics at UWO, practicing since 2002.
    Matt is in good standing with the college, plays an active role with the Pedorthic Association of Canada & is Chair of a task force regulating the profession. As a foot-care professional and avid athlete, Matt’s knowledge & love of sports compliments & enhances his ability to treat patients.

  • Alex Stewart
    Alex Stewart Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, DOMP

    Alex first started her post secondary education at Nipissing University, completing an honors bachelors degree in Physical and Health Education. She then went on to graduate from Georgian College with an honors diploma in Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant. Alex has recently completed her diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice (DOMP) at the National Academy of Osteopathy. Alex was drawn to a career in Manual Osteopathy after working as a PTA at Headwaters Physiotherapy. During this time, she was able to observe the various practitioners helping patients get back to doing the things they truly enjoy in life.

     

  • Kody Watson
    Kody Watson Physiotherapy Assistant, MSCPT (Pre-Reg), M.KIN, BA (HONS)

    Kody is a graduate of the Queen Margaret University Physiotherapy (Pre-Reg) program. His prior education includes completing a Masters of Kinesiology and a Bachelors of Kinesiology and Physical Education at Wilfrid Laurier University. Kody has also furthered his training in Strength & Conditioning rehabilitation. His personal and research interests are focused on long-term athlete development and healthy cognitive aging with lifetime physical activity. Kody enjoys working with multiple populations and providing them with the knowledge and holistic support required to live a healthy and active lifestyle. In his free time, Kody likes to stay active by playing competitive soccer, strength training, and running. He also enjoys travelling and supporting Toronto sports teams. “It’s the Leafs year… next year”.

     

  • Lisa Pilatzke
    Lisa Pilatzke Registered Kinesiologist

    Lisa is a Registered Kinesiologist who graduated from Humber College with a Fitness and Health Diploma and then continued her education at Guelph-Humber University where she completed her Honours of BASc Kinesiology Degree.  Lisa has always had a passion for fitness, health and helping others.  Lisa runs the GLA:D Canada program at the clinic which helps Osteoarthritis patients to become more functional and to maintain function in everyday activities.  Outside of work Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys going to concerts, hiking, going to the gym and camping.

  • Nikita Moni
    Nikita Moni Registered Kinesiologist

    Nikita graduated from Western University in 2016 with a BA in Kinesiology. She has passed the College of Kinesiologist examination. What drew Nikita to this career is the ability to interact with various patients and help them to achieve their goals throughout their recovery process. In her free time, Nikita enjoys music, playing sports with friends, and hikes. She also has a black belt in Karate.

  • Amber Dean
    Amber Dean Physiotherapy Assistant/Administrator

    Amber graduated with honours in 2014 from Humber North’s Occupational Therapist Assistant/Physiotherapist Assistant Program. She has several years of experience as a Physiotherapist Assistant. Amber enjoys helping people and building relationships with her patients. Outside of work Amber enjoys dancing, hiking and spending time with her dog Stormy.

  • Jaylen Celestine
    Jaylen Celestine Physiotherapy Assistant

    Jaylen has lived in Orangeville for over 10 years. We first met Jaylen when he was doing his placement for the Specialist High Skills Major program for High School. Jaylen enjoys assisting patients with programs like our GLA:D classes, and helping create their workout plans. He also enjoys being actively involved and helping people in the community. Outside of work, Jaylen has a love for animals. He volunteers at a dog recreation facility and hopes to be a detection dog handler.

     

  • Jordan Bongers
    Jordan Bongers Physiotherapy Assistant

    Jordan is completing her studies in Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Assisting program at Georgian College. Jordan is passionate about helping people improve their lives when it comes to health and fitness. In her spare time, Jordan loves travelling, spending time with family and friends and loves listening to music, exercising and hiking.

    Sarah Ward Administrator

    Sarah is an Administrator at the Athlete Institute location. She was born and raised in Orangevillle and enjoys spending time with friends and family. She enjoys sports and the many beautiful local hikes, along with her dog.

  • Laura McCarron
    Laura McCarron Administrator

    Originally from Scotland, Laura moved to Orangeville with her husband from Mississauga a few years ago and quickly fell in love with its lovely community. Laura likes to spend as much time as possible in her garden growing her own fruits and vegetables. That partnered with her keen love for all things outdoors, being able to take her dog out to the trails for a hike or to the lakes and rivers for a swim is how Laura likes to spend most of her down time.

    Jennifer McEachnie Administrator

    Jenny is an Administrator at Headwaters Physiotherapy. With several years of administrative experience in the healthcare industry, she enjoys being part of the clinic team that is focused on improving each patient’s well-being. When Jenny isn’t assisting people at the front desk of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
